AM Eats
Breakfast seems to be the meal with the least variety. For something a bit harder to find in the County (it’s more common in the Bronx), try the traditional Dominican breakfast platter known as los tres golpes (“three hits”), consisting of mangú (boiled mashed green plantain) topped with fried onion, plus fried egg, fried cheese, and sliced Dominican salami. You’ll find this hearty and flavorful AM chow-down at Dominican Kitchen in Mamaroneck and Karamba Tropical Restaurant in White Plains.
