What We Liked (And Didn’t Like) About Scheduling Site Burbio

As a busy Pelham mother, Julie Roche (pictured above, with her husband) was overwhelmed tracking all her family’s events and obligations. The result: Burbio. The free-to-use site synchronizes local calendars (like town recycling and school schedules) to your personal calendar from Google, iOS, or Outlook. And Burbio’s recently added carpool feature allows you to keep track of contact information for each member of your carpool group and, for each event on your calendar, specify who will be driving and who will need a ride. We tested out Burbio, and had some thoughts.

What we liked: The site is exceptionally user-friendly; just choose group calendars (from schools, recycling, etc.), and it automatically pulls events into your own personal and private calendar; there’s no need to manually enter every event.

What we didn’t: Burbio does not notify you of your upcoming events. You’ll need to check the site regularly.
