Aca-amazing! The Yonkers Public Library is hosting another session of their Teen Friday Flicks on August 5 from 2-4 pm, this time showing the hugely popular and wildly funny Pitch Perfect 2. Admission is free, and all attendees will be entered in a raffle to win a book and DVD at the library’s Summer Reading Club Party, happening later this month. Global Flavors Tacos Cooking Class, Sur La Table, White Plains
This Sunday, August 7, spice up your weekend with a two-hour, hands-on demonstration of grilling, cutting, and sauce-making techniques, all leading up to your own taste test of the finished products. Instructor Nicole DeMent brings flavors from around the world to Westchester, teaching you how to create three unique variations of everyone’s favorite dinner dish.
