Gather the kiddies and their pals and head on over to Playland this Sunday, August 7 for a celebration featuring free friendship bracelets, a magic show, a musical performance, and appearances from the Westchester Knicks. Plus, your $15 buys you additional giveaways, activities, and discounted rides. But get there quick—free bracelets are only available while supplies last.

In the Heights, White Plains Performing Arts Center, White Plains

Need your Lin-Manuel Miranda fix, but don’t want to test your luck against the other 10,000 Hamilton ticket-lottery entrants? Look no further than the White Plains Performing Arts Center, where Miranda’s previous renowned musical, In the Heights, will be staged this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, August 5-7. With lively, original songs chronicling three days in the life of Washington Heights, NY residents, this is the perfect way to get a taste what all the Grammy and Tony award fuss was about, but for just $25. Shows run 8 pm to 10:30 pm.
