Ick alert here: research has found 287 chemicals in the cord blood that have transferred from mom to newborn, some of them carcinogenic, contained in items we slather on our faces and bodies every day. Even products labeled “organic,” “natural,” “safe,” and “pure” may have toxic ingredients and chemicals hidden under the category “fragrance.”
