13 Westchester Spas, Salons, and Beauty Businesses Reopening This Week

As Westchester and the rest of the Mid-Hudson region progresses through the reopening process, Phase Three invites the return of beauty salons, spas, massage therapy, laser services, and more, so locals can finally indulge in a little pampering and self-care.

Social distancing and health guidelines are still in place, however, so before trying to book an appointment at your favorite place, check out their reopening policies below.

Skincare & Laser Treatments

Bare Skin and Laser

201 Marble Ave, Pleasantville
Safety Precautions: Masks required; temperature checks upon entry (temperatures above 100ºF not permitted to enter); sanitize hands upon entry; waiting area is closed (clients must wait in their vehicles); only bring essential belongings; payments should be made in advanced by phone or online; clients should come alone; clients who are sick or have had exposure to COVID-19 will need to reschedule; follow-up appointments can be made by calling.

Dare to Be Bare

183 E Hartsdale Ave, Hartsdale
Safety Precautions: Cleaning and sanitizing between clients; guests are asked to come alone; 24-hour cancellation policy will be suspended to encourage clients to cancel if they do not feel well.


Euro Laser Spa Services

20 Purdy Ave, Suite 1, Rye
Safety Precautions: By appointment only; all clients must sign a COVID-19 waiver (sent via email) before entering the spa; call from your car upon arrival to ensure it is safe to enter; temperature readings at the door; masks required at all times with exceptions during facial treatments; appointments staggered throughout the day; clients should come alone, but minors must be accompanied by an adult; credit card must be maintained on file for contact-less payment; ask technician or receptionist to retrieve skincare products for purchase; practice social distancing; wash your hands.

Cariangel’s Cosmetic and Medical Spa

455 Central Park Ave, Suite 212, Scarsdale
Reopening June 24
Safety Precautions: Customers must call the spa from their car when they arrive, wait to be directed inside, and wash their hands after exiting the elevator; temperatures checks upon entering, no one with a temperature of 99.9°F or higher will be allowed to enter; masks are mandatory; clients must come alone, without personal belongings; touch-free payment methods are available.

POSH Beauty Boutique

118 Pondfield Rd, Bronxville
Safety Precautions: Temperature checks at the door, those with a fever cannot enter; hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance, desk, and scattered around the boutique; staff wears face coverings and shields, customers must wear face coverings; clients asked to arrive on time and without guests; no facials or lower face waxes at this time.

Youtherapy Medical

Safety Precautions: Masks required; patients temperature taken via IR scan; office organized to maximize social distancing guidelines; patients receive a text or call when exam room is ready; patients may check out in their exam room to limit exposure; patients should come alone, but children and adult patients who require a caretaker may be accompanied by one adult; patients who are sick or have had exposure to COVID-19 will need to reschedule.

The Abbey Inn & Spa

Reopening June 25
Safety Precautions: Masks required; temperature check for all guests upon arrival; maximum of four guests in the Relaxation Lounge at a time; maximum of one person in sauna or locker Room at a time; UV lights sanitizer.




390 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains
85 Purchase St, Rye
Safety Precautions: All staff has been antibody tested and must be retested every two weeks; Staff also must take their temperature every day before entering; technicians must wearing masks and shields, and sterilize/sanitize tools and stations between clients; customers must call from their car upon arrival and enter salon once they have been cleared to do so; temperature taken upon entering; stations are six feet apart and everyone must wear a mask at all times.



Nicholas Day Spa and Salon

203 Wolfs Ln, Pelham
Safety Precautions: Please verify the health and exposure of all household members before arrival; guests must wear masks and gloves; the spa is unable to provide beverages or reading materials.



Oasis Day Spa

50 Hamilton St, Dobbs Ferry
Safety Precautions: The spa will be operating at 50% capacity with spaced bookings to maintain social distancing; some services will also not be available at this time in accordance with New York State health guidelines (no facials or lip/chin procedures at this time).



Salt + Sweat

14C Rye Ridge Plaza, Rye Brook
Safety Precautions: Communal spaces are closed; decreased number of staggered appointments per day; pre-purchase required to ensure a contactless checkout; temperature checks upon entering the studio; all technicians must wear masks and face shields; sanitation between guests; guests must come alone.



Tranquility Spa

917 Central Park Ave, Scarsdale
Safety Precautions: Arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to appointed time; no gathering in the waiting area — customers should call from their car upon arrival; clients will be instructed when to enter and taken directly to their treatment room; no robes, towels, or slipper service for the time being; shower and steam room use is also suspended; limit two services per person per visit; no group bookings or side-by-side visits; 30-minutes between services for cleaning; masks must be worn at all times; customers must complete a Health Form and a Covid-19 Screening Form.
