Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley hosted their annual donor dinner this November 14 at The Lodge at Hudson Harbor in Tarrytown. The evening offered a strong show of support for the organization, with 180 donors being thanked and 11 restaurants across Westchester and the Hudson Valley showing up to offer samples of a specialty dish.
Among the participating restaurants were Rivermarket Bar & Kitchen, owned by Make-a-Wish chapter supporter Glenn Vogt; Crabtree’s Kittle House, owned by John Crabtree who is also a chapter supporter; as well as Chutney Masala, Farmer & the Fish, The Twisted Oak, Sam’s of Gedney Way, L’Inizio, and Broken Bow Brewery.
“Wish Kid” Carli, who’s wish to swim with dolphins at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas was granted in 2016, was in attendance to share her experiences with Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley and the hope their work provides for kids. This past year, the chapter granted 125 wishes.
