We know the only business events you’re attending this month are probably holiday-related. So get a jump on planning your January networking calendar with these upcoming Westchester business events.

Manhattanville School of Business Open House

On Thursday, January 8, attend a free information session to gain an overview of Manhattanville’s graduate business programs, adult undergraduate programs, advanced certificates, and what to expect when applying and enrolled. Prospective students will be given the opportunity to meet with program directors, admissions staff, financial aid staff, and representatives from student services. Prospectives will also attend a panel discussion featuring current students representing each of the college’s graduate business programs. Those who attend the open house will receive a $75 application fee waiver.

Boost Your Workplace Energy

Entrepreneurial Schooling

Want to launch a business but feel like you need a little entrepreneurial education first? Head to an information session about Westchester Community College’s “Academy for Entrepreneurial Excellence” on January 20 at 6 pm

Seminar: Six Steps to Small Business Success

To succeed in a new business, a coach can make a world of difference. At The Ridgefield Playhouse on Wednesdays beginning January 21 thru February 25 from 7–9 pm, small business expert Mona Thorpe, founder and CEO of Success-411—a company that assists small business owners—will teach her Six Steps to Small Business Success Seminar. This eight-week workshop teaches a powerful six-step process to help overcome the hidden stumbling blocks that are the biggest cause of failure in business. The six steps will help shift patterns that are not aligned with success goals to powerful thought processes that help position the small business owner achieve realistic goals and enjoy the benefits of a flowing, satisfying, and highly lucrative business.

Grow Your Business Through Contracts
