After a 10-month renovation, the Neuberger Museum of Art reopened April 28 with Pre-Columbian Remix: The Art of Enrique Chagoya, Demián Flores, Rubén Ortiz-Torres, and Nadín Ospina, a witty fusion of Aztec, Mayan, and Incan art forms with pop-culture imagery. After taking in the visual arts, we recommend you amble on over to The Performing Arts Center—a modern, four-theater complex designed by noted architect Edward Larrabee Barnes—where there is always something happening, with more than 600 dance, music, theater, film, and family events held each year.
