Ah, the life of an old-time gentleman farmer. You can easily imagine it here on this authentic 19th-century working farm that is always bustling with sheep-shearing, chick-hatching, planting, harvesting, and demonstrations of farm life from the olden days. On weekends, there are often special events and hayrides, but it’s fun just to explore the old barns and outbuildings and watch the pigs roll in the mud and the horses frolic in the fields. Our favorite spot is the gazebo at the top of the hill—from it, you can see for miles around.
