We can think of lots of reasons to visit the Kensico Dam Plaza: Concerts and festivals are offered all summer long, and the dam itself, 300 feet high and 1,830 feet long, is an architectural marvel. But what puts it on our “must do” list is the opportunity to see a movie on the great lawn under the stars. For the eighth year, Kensico will be hosting its free movie night program. Expect about 4,000 like-minded residents to join you, so get there early, stake your space, and enjoy local entertainment before show time, promptly at dusk. Jammies optional.
