Yonkers native and Iron Chef Peter Kelly’s flagship restaurant, X2O Xaviars on the Hudson, stands on the edge of the Yonkers Pier, looking out over the Hudson River and the Palisades. Any meal here is a gourmet delight, either in the bright main room or the cozier Dylan Lounge, but X2O’s Sunday brunch is not to be missed. It has to be one of the best bargains anywhere, starting with baskets of breads and passed trays of appetizers like coconut shrimp and roast rack of baby lamb, then a choice of two savory dishes, and, a delectable dessert—plus unlimited Champagne—all for just $38 per person.
