Bejeweled & bedazzling

Nordstom women’s shoe buyer Victoria Dellinger has noticed “some fun color play, such as royal blue and bright pink” in bridal shoes. “We’re also excited about heavy heel embellishment; lots of bling. A third trend we’re seeing is an Art Deco/vintage influence.”

Make Mine Mint

Colored shoes aren’t more popular than white or ivory at Kleinfeld. Bestsellers include shoes in blue, or in mint green (called “Liberty”) from Sarah Jessica Parker’s new bridal line, which debuted at the shop. All shoes in the collection feature a light-blue grosgrain tab along the back seam. Jimmy Choo metallics are popular, too.
