WCA Debuts Rebranding and New Site Amid Economic Push

The Westchester County Association is looking to further a new wave of economic development with a freshly revamped image.

In its first major brand overhaul since its genesis in 1950, the Westchester County Association (WCA) hopes a new image — including a new website and modernized logo — will accurately represent the association’s dedication to improving healthcare and data policies, among other causes, in conjunction with Westchester’s most prominent companies and organizations.

The new site showcases the association’s Healthcare Advocacy Plan and Land Use Development Playbook to serve as tools to help businesses, nonprofits, and municipalities accelerate growth. The website will also house original reports, white pages, plans, and analyses.

“We are proud to be the only organization completely dedicated to the development and advocacy of policies that will support our members and grow Westchester’s economy,” says WCA President and CEO William M. Mooney Jr. “It is what we eat, sleep, and breathe.”

In accordance with their clientele-focused reputation, the WCA will continue to provide services and support essential to businesses’ success, according to William V. Cuddy, Jr., executive vice president at CBRE. “What sets the Westchester County Association apart is its ability to consistently move the needle in a way that drives economic development,” says Cuddy. “From securing much-needed land use regulatory reforms to winning the support of elected officials for consequential development projects, there is not a more effective advocate for economic growth in this region than the Westchester County Association.”

Among other supporters of the WCA are Congresswoman Nita Lowey who publicly supports federal grant funding for the WCA, and Superintendent of the White Plains School District Joseph Ricca who says the WCA’s gigabit initiative will help in “closing the technological access gap that may exist here in New York.”
