The United Way of Westchester and Putnam Tocqueville Society held its annual celebration as part of a series of 50th anniversary events. Barbara Cohen, former chair of the Tocqueville Society, and her husband H. Rodgin Cohen hosted the cocktail reception in their Irvington home.
The program’s guest speaker was Frank Williams, Jr., executive director of the White Plains Youth Bureau, and president of Passage to Excellence (a United Way partner working to reduce obesity rates).
John M. Bendheim, Sr., and family of Scarsdale were recognized for establishing the Bendheim Community Disaster Recovery Endowment Fund for United Way of Westchester and Putnam.
