U.S. News & World Report has released its rankings of the top public high schools across the nation. There were 21,000 public high schools included in this ranking. Twenty-four Westchester high schools were ranked inside the top 850.
The highest-ranking Westchester school was Rye High School, coming in at number 85. “We are proud of our high school’s impressive standing in New York and the country and were delighted to receive this excellent news,” says Rye Superintendent Dr. Frank Alvarez. “Congratulations to High School Principal Patricia Taylor and her faculty, staff and students, as well as all administrators and faculty District-wide. This is an accomplishment reflective of dedication and hard work throughout our school community.”
