New Rochelle looks forward to the opening of a new residential building that boasts a spa and views of the Long Island Sound.
New Rochelle topped out its latest residential building, Two Clinton Park, with the help of a familiar face, RXR. In December of 2014, RXR was named the Master Developer of New Rochelle’s Downtown. And, over the past eight years, the company has developed the city’s urban core with three residential buildings that contribute a vibrant and dynamic vibe to the streetscape.
“We take pride in our designation as master developer of Downtown New Rochelle, and the topping out of Two Clinton Park is another major milestone,” says Joseph Graziose, Executive Vice President of Development Services, RXR.
The newest development is a sister tower to RXR’s One Clinton Park, which stands across Clinton Place in Downtown New Rochelle. Two Clinton Park is a 28-story mixed-use tower for which development first broke ground back in November 2021. Since the start of its construction, the building has created more than 500 onsite jobs, many of the workers being from Westchester County.
New Rochelle city officials alongside RXR executives, the Bridge Investment Group, leadership from LRC Construction and Lessard Design, and Otera Capital celebrated the topping off milestone earlier this month.
The state-of-the-art complex will offer 390 luxury apartments, nearly 24,000 sq ft of amenities, and over 7,500 sq ft of retail space. Residents will be able to browse from a range of apartments, including studios and three bedrooms. Each apartment will boast an open kitchen, floor-to-ceiling windows, stainless steel appliances, and walnut cabinetry featuring soft-close doors and drawers.
The building itself will include co-working and dining spaces, a fitness area, a spa with infrared saunas and yoga studio, a library, a lounge, and a children’s playroom. It will also offer 24/7 valet parking for residents and their guests. Outside, there’s a dog run and multiple terraces equipped with dining areas, grills, and games.
In addition to the ample outdoor space, there are scenic views of the Long Island Sound and the ever-growing New Rochelle skyline. The building is in ideal proximity to the waterfront, Downtown New Rochelle, and the New Rochelle train station.
“New Rochelle is an attractive market with a mix of growing diverse population, excellent transit accessibility and infrastructure. Two Clinton Park possesses the essential components for a successful project, including a supportive local government and skilled development partners like RXR. Two Clinton Park will be a predominant piece of the neighborhood, and we are delighted to have partnered on this project,” says David Coelho, Chief Investment Officer at Bridge Investment Group.
As of now, Two Clinton Park is slated to open this fall.
