On a street lined with charming small shops and restaurants, from juice bars to pubs and international fare, Dobbs Ferry’s downtown foodie scene now has a brand new stop. Villaggio’s of Dobbs Ferry is Danny and Robyn Santiago’s second location (they bought the original location in Hartsdale from the retiring owners a few years ago, who had operated it for 38 years). A grand opening party was held Friday, February 17.
“My husband and I are both so thankful for the surrounding businesses and residents of Dobbs Ferry and how they’ve welcomed us,” says Robyn. “To have businesses flourishing within the county we live in is so exciting.”

The couple, which met while working at the Hartsdale Villaggio’s, decided to open a smaller space in Dobbs Ferry because they felt connected to this Rivertown. Robyn has always enjoyed Dobbs Ferry’s riverfront, the shopping, and restaurants.
Villaggio’s offers a variety of pizza, soups, pastas, wedges, fresh salads, and traditional Italian entrées. A few specialties to look forward to are the chicken scarpiello alla Villaggio, cavatelli with broccoli rabe, sausage, and garlic, and the salad pizza with a special dressing. Grab-and-go meals like chicken fajita wraps and burgers, plus starters such as Buffalo wings, clams oreganata, and cold antipasti are also offered. Lunchtime specials for kids will certainly attract families and the after-school crowd.
Open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
