Back in 2014, Westchester Magazine searched far and wide, through All-State teams and an abundance of MaxPreps stats to identify the most skilled student athletes the county was cultivating. At the time we spoke with a host of talented kids, including an Ursuline state-tennis champ, a Woodlands High point guard who averaged more than 25 points per game as a junior, and a sophomore who lead the Port Chester Rams’ soccer team to the Class AA section quarterfinals.
But times change, and while many high school athletes move on to other fields, a select few continue to rise to the top of their game as they move into higher education. Today, we speak to three of our Top Jocks alums who have spent the past two years making a name for themselves and solidifying their place in the world of college athletics.
