Short of offering breakfast service (so we could live out our Audrey Hepburn fantasy), there wasn’t much we thought Tiffany & Co. could do to improve their standing in our eyes. Yet, once again, the luxury jewelers have dazzled us with something sparkling and new, and utterly gorgeous: their newly renovated shop in The Westchester.
The recently unveiled storefront has been specifically redesigned to help showcase the brand’s luxury goods and enhance customers’ in-store experiences. Sleek, modern, and immaculately accented — in “Tiffany Blue,” of course — the new look eschews the store’s old layout for a more open vibe. And at 4,500 square feet, that’s a lot of vibe.
“Barriers between clients and sales professionals are reduced, as we move away from a permissions-based shopping experience,” says Divisional Vice President Richard Moore. “Increased storytelling is introduced, bringing wit and personality from the show windows throughout the store.”
Cohesive design elements like shining steel, iron, glass, and elegant marble not only elevate the mood of the store, they evoke the same lustrous qualities as the brand’s merchandise.
Showcasing elements of the redesign include an entire display wall inspired by the internationally recognized Tiffany Blue Box, a ceremonious wrapping station, custom engraving at the new personalization counter, and a crown jewel in the revamp: The Love & Engagement pavilion, decked out in stylish wheat leaf ironwork, spotlights the new Tiffany True collection of engagement rings.
“The new store will provide our clients the renowned quality, craftsmanship, and style they expect from Tiffany, in a beautiful new environment,” says Vice President of Northern American Retail Alexandra Winokur. “We have been fortunate to call New York City our home for over 180 years, and are excited to reopen and innovate our White Plains store.”
The revamped store will also showcase Tiffany & Co.’s other classic collections, from Paper Flowers and Tiffany Infinity, to work from designers like Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso, and Jean Schlumberger.
