Due in part to social media and celebrity influence, interest in body-shaping procedures has risen. While there are many places countywide to enhance natural beauty, Danielle Repetti believes that she and Roxane Campanaro have an edge over the competition at their Elmsford spa, re:fresh beauty bar, because of their personal interest in the industry and their professional backgrounds.
“We put our hearts and souls in picking the best products, demo-ing the best machines, and making sure we were bringing in the newest, most effective technology.”

Repetti, who is an emergency-room nurse, says that being an RN “helps me tie everything together because it satisfies the safety end of things. I know how to avoid complications.” She adds that re:fresh also has a board-certified emergency-medicine physician on staff. Campanaro, a licensed aesthetician, and Repetti met as kids in Yonkers. Fast-forward a couple of decades, to May 2018, and the two opened their beauty bar to help Westchesterites enhance their appearance in a safe environment.
The concept behind re:fresh is “regarding freshness,” meaning that their roster of services are intended to help clients feel their freshest. Services include facials, injectables, brow tinting, eyelash extensions, body sculpting (for fat reduction or muscle enhancement), laser hair removal, IV hydration drips, B-12 shots, and their ever-popular brow shaping and lip injections. A brand-new service they are excited to offer is truSculpt Flex — a noninvasive muscle-sculpting technology.
Repetti explains that what sets them apart is that they are self-made: “We didn’t open with anybody else’s money, funding, or guidance. We put our hearts and souls in picking the best products, demo-ing the best machines, and making sure we were bringing in the newest, most effective technology.” While the two focus on different services, they complement each other while keeping the same goal in mind: to “keep everyone fresh-faced and looking like themselves, but better,” says Repetti.
