Recruit Westchester Job & Internship Fair

The Westchester County Association’s third annual job and internship fair is being held on Friday, October 17 from 10am to 1pm at the Hilton Westchester in Rye Brook. WCA brings together businesses, students, and alumni at a one event to make it easier and more cost-effective for employers to find employees and for students to find jobs and internships. Nonprofit Westchester Hosting Conference on Branding

Westchester’s nonprofit professionals, board members, and volunteers can all gain important insight at the “Improving Perceptions” conference hosted by Nonprofit Westchester. The event takes place on Friday, October 24 at Manhattanville College in Purchase from 8:30am to 12:00pm. The conference will highlight keynote speaker Farra Trompeter, vice president of Big Duck Marketing, and will include various workshops led by area business professionals. Trompeter’s focus at the conference will be “brand raising” and helping nonprofits raise money and visibility via smart communications. A Conversation with Montefiore CEO Dr. Steven Safyer

The Business Council of Westchester and First Niagara Bank have teamed up to present a Leadership Conversations series, featuring top voices from the area’s business scene. On October 27, the series will feature Dr. Steven Safyer, the driving force behind Montefiore Health System. Gain firsthand insight into the mind of Safyer, one of healthcare’s leading executives. MSG Execs Headline BCW Annual Dinner

Rub shoulders with Westchester’s business elite at The Business Council of Westchester’s annual dinner on November 6 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown. This year’s headline speakers are Tad Smith, President and CEO of Madison Square Garden; Allan Houston, former NY Knick star and current Assistant GM for the Knicks; and famed sportscaster Al Trautwig of the MSG Network. Happy Anniversary to Professional Women of Westchester

Professional Women of Westchester will celebrate its four-year anniversary on November 11 at its annual “Give Thanks” party.
