St. Paul’s Church National Historic Site, meanwhile, will be holding a talk at 3 p.m. as part of its “Over Here, Over There: America in World War I” exhibit. For the Mind and Body Buff

May 15-22

Yonkers Public Library is helping residents amp up their mind-body connection with an entire week of healthy guided activities. Enjoy a group meditation and mini reiki session with the Crestwood Reiki Experience at 7:30 on May 15, a Meditation Seminar with Kellye Davis at 10 a.m. on May 19, or try out an introduction to the MELT Method at 6 p.m. on May 22. There are also plenty of other activities going on at the various YPL locations, including Zumba, string quartet, and even a Neil Diamond impersonator to collectively lull you into a calm state of delirious love. Check out the library’s full calendar for more fun ideas.

For the Mind and Body Buff Who Also Likes Beer

May 19

Moderation in all things, including moderation: Listen, we get it. Sometimes ridding your body of stress and negativity can go hand-in-hand with grabbing a pint with good friends. That’s why Yonkers Brewing Co. and Gabriela Cruz are hosting Soulful Yoga & Beer with Divine Soul Catalyst. $15 gets you an hour-long 10 a.m. Vinyasa/Yin yoga class to start off your Saturday right, then maybe stick around for the fabulous brunch options and libations. One beer is already included in your class fee; it’d be a shame to waste it!

If a quiet evening is more your speed, try “Lino & Vino” at DayDreamer Studios in Cross River. It’s like “drink and draw” or “paint and sip,” but you’ll enjoy the less common medium of printmaking. Learn techniques with professional designer and artist Jennifer Llewellyn and socialize with like-minded artistic oenophiles.

May 21

The Music Conservatory of Westchester will host their final open-house of the season from 5:30-7 p.m. Parents interested in signing their children up for summer programs (each half- or full-day for two-week sessions) can come scope out the variety of offerings, including learning an instrument, dance and creative movement, and theater.
