These Westchester High Schools Take Top Spots in U.S. News Rankings

Once again, local high schools are at the top of the class.

Fresh for 2019, U.S. News just released their annual list of the best schools in the nation, and one Westchester alma mater in particular is making waves.

Moving up nine spots from last year’s rankings, Bronxville High School now rates 11th of all New York State schools — the highest of any outside the five boroughs — and was the only Westchester institution to break the national Top 100 Schools at #99. (Math nerds: 99 out of the 23,265 schools surveyed yields … the top 99.6th percentile!)

Bronxville leapfrogged Edgemont Junior-Senior High School in Greenburgh, which maintained it’s #14 spot in New York from last year (but fell to #112 nationally).
