6/12 — Networking, But With Barbecue

Manhattanville College is celebrating students this week — current, former, and prospective — marking the 35th anniversary of its Adult and Continuing Education program and the 25th of its master’s program in Organizational Development and HR Management. How do you celebrate such things? Obviously, you throw a barbecue! Next you invite the public, students, and tons of successful alumni to help grow professional networks and build up careers. The event is free and runs 6 to 8:30 p.m.

6/14 — A True Community Bank

After three decades in the business, Country Bank in Scarsdale is hosting its own 30th anniversary party, and it’s inviting everyone! Everyone? EVERYONE! From 6 to 8 p.m. guests can enjoy a community event including giveaways, refreshments, good food, ad even bagpipe players. Local business leaders will gather for the highlight of the evening: a rededication ribbon-cutting ceremony to launch the next decade of doing business in Westchester.

6/14 — Cruise for a Cause

Sunset cruises return to Westchester this Thursday, as Groundwork Hudson Valley teams up with Vista Yacht Cruises to benefit the former’s many programs. Board the Majestic Princess from the Science Barge (just one of those aforementioned programs!) starting at 5:30 p.m. and depart at 6, sailing down the Hudson to the Statue of Liberty and back by 10. Cocktails, buffet dinner, and even a raffle for a free cruise for two are on the docket for the evening. Tickets start at $150. Contact Sara Brody at GHV for more details.

6/15 — Local Theatre? Mamma Mia!

A Contemporary Theatre (ACT) of Connecticut, though a little bit of a drive in Ridgefield, is running multiple performances of ABBA-distilled Broadway smash Mamma Mia! every Thursday-Friday-Saturday through July 1. If you love heyday pop and hereditary comedies, this show is definitely worth going a little out of your way. Tickets start at $57.
