Luxe children’s birthday parties are nothing new in Westchester. But having a grand soirée and skipping all the set-up and cleanup? That’s something to talk about.
Katonah resident Jennifer Mitchell created Dream Teepee Party to help parents in Westchester, Long Island, and Connecticut host darling sleepovers for their little ones (or not so little ones — as she’s planned parties for teens and adults, as well), without the hassle. Mitchell, who has Native American ancestry, has a background in visual merchandising.
She created Dream TeePee Party after seeing online similar indoor glamping companies in New Zealand and Australia. Clients choose a color scheme/theme (unicorns, campfire), and Mitchell will deliver teepees, pillows, air mattresses, sheets, blankets, area rugs, twinkle lights, lanterns, and breakfast trays for a fairy-tale sleepover.
After snacks have been devoured, spooky stories have been shared, and the new day breaks, Mitchell returns to clean the space, leaving only enchanted memories. Packages start at $350 for four people.
