Sabrina and Adam were in Las Vegas with his family to celebrate Adam’s sister’s 25th birthday. On the day after her party, Adam had arranged for a private backstage tour of the famous Caesar’s Palace Hotel. This isn’t something the hotel normally does, but when Adam called to explain his surprise-filled proposal idea, the hotel was very excited to participate.
The tour ended at the replica of the Trevi Fountain (where it is believed that if you throw a coin over your shoulder you will have everlasting love). Adam then told Sabrina he wanted to have her serenaded. He motioned over to a gentleman from the crowd (whom, unbeknownst to her, had been flown in from LA for this very purpose) who started singing “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars (a favorite song of theirs). While this was going on, Adam then turned to another supposed bystander in the crowd, who handed him a bag of posters where he had written in his own words what Sabrina’s love meant to him.
He then got down on one knee and proposed in front of the gathering and cheering crowd. Amidst all of this was a professional photographer capturing the entire epic event.
If that wasn’t enough to make any girl’s dream come true, Adam had arranged for Sabrina’s family to be flown in a few days prior, but to stay in hiding until the opportune time. That time came that evening when they surprised her while having a celebratory drink at a lounge in Caesar’s Palace.
After dating for two years, Sabrina knew that a wedding was somewhere on the horizon, but she couldn’t have dreamed up anything as elaborate and spectacular as what Adam had spent months and months planning.
They currently live in Rye Brook and are set to wed at Glen Island Harbour Club in early September.
