Okay, so we vowed before we set out on this quest that we wouldn’t include a “Girls’ Night Out” entry because, as any girl knows, a fabulous night out with the ladies is not contingent on location. Still, there isn’t much about The Rose Room in Mount Kisco that’s not conducive to a ladies’ night. The décor is hyper-feminine, with silver chandeliers; soft pink and purple lighting; a plush, white bar; and (lightly) pulsating dance music—and the disco ball didn’t hurt, either. The drinks, particularly the Martini with blue-cheese-stuffed olives, satisfy. With only three taps, it’s certainly not the place to sit and grab a beer. The crowd—mostly mid-20- and 30-somethings—is of the mix-and-mingle variety, so get ready to turn on the charm. No need to dress to the nines, but definitely throw on something cute.
