The Festivals and Fairs You Should Be Going To This Summer

Here’s everything you need to know for the upcoming warm weather season.

Summer officially begins June 21 and what better way to spend your summer days and nights than hitting these local fairs and festivals? From June to August, we’ve got you covered on where to go.

American Roots Festival

Make the American Roots Festival at Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts an all day affair Saturday, June 24. Numerous artists, children’s activities, house tours, and picnicking will be available for your entertainment. You can either splurge for theater seating or plan a party outside on the lawn (where the view isn’t outstanding, but you can hear all the performances). There will be vendors to purchase food, but you can also bring your own picnic if you choose. Doors open at 11 a.m., and music begins at noon.
