You really can’t make a bad choice here. Luscious chocolate-dipped strawberries are $35 a pound, and the decadent truffles (a Best of Westchester winner) are a worth-it $1.95 each; raspberry and hazelnut truffles are among the most popular. For V-Day, you may want to opt for the heart-shaped box filled with chocolates or truffles ($20 to $75).

At this  chocolate wonderland, creamy, decadent Belgian chocolates rule. Imagine specializes in heart-shaped boxes of chocolates (16 for $25; 80 for $120-$130).

Choose from hand-painted milk- or dark-chocolate hearts, which can be made hollow with a sentiment inside (like “Be Mine”), fortune-cookie style. A large hand-painted heart (approximately 5 inches) is $26. Blue Tulip uses its own exclusive blend of French, Belgian, and Venezuelan chocolates.

This tiny chocolate shop specializes in fun, delicious treats. For Valentine’s Day, the Belgian chocolate “conversation heart” at $15 can’t be beat.

The Chocolate Chalet is known for its long-stem chocolate strawberries ($3.95 to $4.95 each, depending on size). Completely edible chocolate heart-shaped boxes ($16.95 to $44.95) are available in a range of sizes. If you really want to wow your sweetheart, opt for two edible roses in an 11.5-inch-high chocolate vase ($24.95).
