Hot-Deal Happy Hours and Bargain Bar Bites
Restaurants’ efforts to be user-friendly are your ticket to a trendy small-plates feast. But in the happy-go-lucky spirit, be prepared to roll with the punches if the menu contradicts the website. Expect a rough approximation, enjoy, and move on—preferably, to the next Happy Hour.

MP Taverna
Chef Michael Psilakis’ Westchester place has only one item on its Happy Hour menu—$1.50 gyro-spiced beef sliders—but, wow are they good. And $4.50 draft beer, $5 house red or white wine, and $6 sangria make them a meal. The regular Greek menu starts at 5 pm, so consider a seafood appetizer ($8.95 to $13.95) or dip trio ($12.95).
