This idea came about the same way many women work through a problem: I had a mental breakdown in my closet. The pair of pants I’d ordered looked horrible on me, and I felt completely lost on how to style them. I thought about how many other people may be clutching a clothing item and cursing the deception of online shopping. To solve this great styling mystery, I tapped local fashion expert Julissa Pio (who doubled as our model) to pull together three outfits that utilize our fashion conundrum: the Sloane tailored pants from Abercrombie & Fitch in tan. ($90)

Look 1: Girls’ Night Out

Glints of gold take this outfit from flat to fierce for a glam Girls’ Night Out look. Pio chose a monochromatic color palette to create this chic styling. “I love the rosette choker that creates a girlie touch to the outfit. The rosette will be absolutely trending in Spring 2024,” she says.
