Studio 14 Brings Boutique Spinning and Yoga to Port Chester

…and wins us over with a too-good grand opening special.

It’s official: Port Chester is having a moment.

Admittedly, despite the downtown’s very respectable dining scene (including foodie havens Tarry Lodge and Market, scene-y bartaco, and the Kneaded Bread café, a personal lunchtime favorite), the municipality traditionally hasn’t held the allure for non-residents of neighboring Rye or Greenwich—both “lifestyle destinations” with the upscale main drags to prove it.

But, as of late, unassuming PoCho is hot on their tails with the addition of, first, a beautiful, week-old Whole Foods Market, located in the Kohl’s shopping center off of Boston Post Road. (The grocer’s Whole Body department is a secret gold mine for affordable, chemical-free, and locally made beauty and body products.)

Now, the village can also boast being the sole site of Studio 14, a boutique indoor-cycling and yoga studio in the movie-theater complex down by the Byram River.

And while the trendy new spot’s sleek looks and energetic ownership suggest they mean serious business, their opening special is perfect for someone just starting out (after all, aren’t all beauty-lovers on board with looking and feeling good?): All new clients enjoy two free classes, one yoga and one cycling.

Yep, free classes—two of them, all to yourself—meaning it’s a great deal for fitness devotees looking to save a buck, too.

Check out Studio 14’s full offerings, including boot-camp and hybrid workouts, and register for your free trial classes, over on the site.
