Sleepy Hollow RiverWalk will join new and existing trails and parklands in a gorgeous outdoor recreation space adjacent to the Edge-on-Hudson townhomes.

The Hudson River Valley is recognized for its natural beauty and scenic views. With its historic link to nature, it is a hotspot for many new developments aiming to connect people to its natural sites and resources.

In Sleepy Hollow, construction has commenced on the first phase of a new waterfront park at Edge-on-Hudson, a Rivertown-style luxury urban living community located along the waterfront. The Sleepy Hollow RiverWalk at Edge-on-Hudson will provide residents and locals access to a section of the Hudson that has been inaccessible for more than a century.

Phase one of the Sleepy Hollow RiverWalk costs an estimated $2 million and will link various trails and parklands along the waterfront, including the Scenic Hudson RiverWalk in Tarrytown and the 1883 Lighthouse at Sleepy Hollow. It will also join the Hudson River Valley Greenway, an interconnected series of trails, parks, and personal boating routes that stretch on either side of the Hudson from Manhattan to Albany.

The RiverWalk was designed by renowned landscape architectural firm Nelson Byrd Woltz, with a majority of design and construction costs being carried by the developers of Edge-on-Hudson, Biddle Real Estate Ventures, and PCD Development, LLC. Originally scheduled to be one of the last features at Edge-on-Hudson to be completed, the Sleepy Hollow RiverWalk is also supported with a $500,000 grant from state’s Empire State Development Market New York (ESD MNY) program.

Phase one of the park is expected to be completed by spring 2022, although temporary access to the waterfront is already available.
