Eastchester’s Skin and Laser Lounge and Yonkers’ Bondi Skin Therapy treat visitors to luxurious services locally.
Eastchester’s Skin and Laser Lounge (300 Main St) is the embodiment of a biz that is small but mighty. The quaint spa opened its doors right before the pandemic and quickly had to shutter due to state mandates. Owner Dominique Fumarelli reopened this spring, with a service menu you would expect from a major day spa or med spa, including standard signature facials and dermaplaning, microneedling, laser hair removal, massages, microdermabrasion, and more. Try the trendy DiamondGlow facial here, a rarity in Westchester (similar to a HydraFacial, but the service incorporates a machine that has a diamond-shaped tip, for a deeper exfoliation).
If you’ve been putting off professional pampering due to COVID concerns, you’ll likely feel comfortable at Bondi Skin Therapy (55 Cole St, Ste 301, Yonkers). Located in Ridge Hill’s My Salon Suite — a new building that houses many beauty-focused businesses, like hair salons, brow bars, and skincare studios — Bondi Skin Therapy is the ultimate in COVID-friendly. One client at a time is serviced in the single suite, with no waiting room, allowing for a personalized, intentional visit. The menu includes offerings like a Fire and Ice facial, pregnancy-safe corrective facials, and chemical peels. Those with acne (or those with newfound “maskne”) take note: Owner Demelza Lawless is a certified acne specialist who can create customizable “acne bootcamp” programs for each client.
