The monthly wine dinner series from Massa’ Coastal Italian Cuisine in Mamaroneck continues Monday, June 9 with a four-course dinner paired with wines from the Cusumano Winery of Sicily. On the menu: Antipasti—Kumamoto oysters served with red vinegar mignonette and cocktail sauce and a Cusumano Alcamo 2012 (70% Insolia 30% Chardonnay), and langostines grilled and served with arugula, fennel, and cherry tomatoes and a Cusumano Cubìa Insolia 2011 (100% Insolia); Primi Piatti—strozzapreti (an elongated form of cavatelli) with big eye tuna, capers, tomato, and red pepper flakes and a Cusumano Benuara 2011 (70% Nero d’Avola 30% Syrah); Secondi Di Pesce—halibut with breadcrumbs over a Barolo wine reduction and a Cusumano Noà 2009 (40% Nero d’Avola 30% Merlot 30% Cabernet Sauvignon); Dolci—classic creme brûlée and a Cusumano Moscato dello Zucco 2007 (100% Moscato)
