With her new location in New York City’s Meatpacking District at 643 Hudson Street underway, Chef/Owner Sherry Blockinger of sherry b dessert studio is also amping up her original Chappaqua location, converting the café to better support retail takeout and e-commerce production/fulfillment.
The NYC location will have an expanded menu, including savory snacks, plated desserts, breakfast items, wines by the glass, unique craft cocktails, and studio-made sodas. The hours have not yet been decided, but you can expect for it to be open seven days a week with later hours on the weekend.

Ever since Blockinger’s store opened in 2012, her business has grown annually thanks to her unique style of baking that makes her concoctions so delicious. She makes from-scratch traditional American desserts using French technique, everything from classic cookies to her truly one-of-a-kind ice cream cake sandwiches to a tipsy marshmallow collection. Her most popular desserts are her purple — that’s right, not red — velvet cupcake, the homemade ice cream in flavors such as Fluffernutter, Birthday Cake, and Blackout, and award-winning chocolate chunk cookies.

There is also good news for those who might not have the time to stop by right away or have the patience to order online: customers will be able to place orders for pickup at her Chappaqua location.
