Late last month, Ruder Finn, one of the world’s largest global communication agencies, acquired local Westchester marketing company RLA Collective. RLA Collective, which is based in Pleasantville, specializes in creative marketing strategies and focuses on over-the-counter health and wellness products for human and pet use. Some of the products they have worked with include Sea-Band, PediaCare, Cold-EEZE, and Tomlyn Veterinary Science.
“RLA has incubated some of the latest technologies and platforms for optimized OTC brand marketing that can be tied to sales,” explains Robin Russo, CEO of RLA Collective and 914INC 2015 Women in Business Award recipient. “We are thrilled to bring our deep understanding of and success in marketing OTC products, including FDA/FTC/HIPPA-compliant, sales-driven marketing strategies to Ruder Finn, with its many advanced resources and prestigious global healthcare client roster and expertise.”
Founded in 1948, Ruder Finn serves more than 250 businesses, including not-for-profit organizations and start-ups. It currently has headquarters in the United States as well as China. CEO of Ruder Finn, Kathy Bloomgarden says, “The acquisition of RLA Collective will enhance our integrated healthcare marketing offerings utilizing the latest in digital marketing technologies to reach niche health consumers.”
RLA Collective, which was founded in 1986, will continue to work out of its Pleasantville office as well as its own space at Ruder Finn’s New York City location. CEO Russo and her business partner Alyson O’Mahoney will continue to work with the company as co-Managing Directors at Ruder Finn.
