Rhoslyn Florist Is a Go-to for Beautiful Bouquets in New Rochelle

A minority- and woman-owned business, Rhoslyn Florist opens its doors in New Rochelle's Vanguard District.

The grand opening of Rhoslyn Florist in February marked the second enterprise to debut in New Rochelle’s recently created Vanguard District. The shop is a MWBE (Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprise) led by CEO and founder Fabiola Guerrero and Diego Toasa.

The original Rhoslyn location is close by in the Bronx, and this New Rochelle location is the next step for the budding business. The store resides within New Rochelle’s newly created Vanguard District, which is centered around Anderson Plaza in the downtown area of the city. The district is a vibrant hub stocked with retail stores, restaurants, and entertainment. Now, locals and visitors alike can stop by Rhoslyn Florist for a beautiful bouquet crafted for any occasion.

“As the first Latine franchise in the florist industry, Rhoslyn Florist is a testament to the entrepreneurial spirit that drives our community, and we are excited to support the growth of this wonderful business. As we continue to grow New Rochelle as a destination for dining, retail, and entertainment, we look forward to celebrating and supporting businesses like Rhoslyn Florist that make our community so special,” says New Rochelle Mayor Yadira Ramos-Herbert.

The florist is part of the City of New Rochelle’s downtown retail strategy within the Vanguard District and throughout downtown New Rochelle to support existing businesses while making way for a diverse mix of new local and national enterprises. These additions include bars, live music venues, gyms, outdoor dining, artisan spaces, and more. The plan also includes a $2.25 million grant to support the businesses and give love to the streetscape and safety improvements.

“At Rhoslyn Florist, we are passionate about providing you with the freshest, most beautiful flowers, and we want to create a space where you can find the perfect bouquet or arrangement for any occasion – whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or just because you want to bring a little more beauty into the world,” says Guerrero.

Customers can expect the highest quality of fresh-cut, exclusive, and unique flower arrangements. Additionally, Rhoslyn Florist offers cards, balloons, and chocolates to make it easy to package the perfect gift in one place. If you’re short on time, the shop offers delivery to the Bronx, Yonkers, New Rochelle, and Mt. Vernon. It’s open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
