Come February, the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) will be bringing a new dining experience to their Hyde Park campus, but it won’t stick around for long.
The coming project is set to be a pop-up experience, the CIA’s second endeavor into the recently proliferated dining trend. The restaurant will be open for dinner from February 16 to June 15, with an ensuing lunch-only stretch from March 24 to May 4.

Dubbed the Post Road Brew House, the restaurant is shooting for a casual dining experience, featuring a host of local craft beers, local wines, and the CIA’s own in-house brews. While the menu has yet to be released, the Post Road website hints at gastro pub fare that “redefines deliciousness,” enticing out taste buds with the promise of cassoulet, hearty salads, and a particularly alluring Brew House Burger.
Asian steamed buns with cured pork as well as pine-needle fries were a few of the featured menu items from Pangea |
Pangea was the CIA’s first foray into the pop-up dining trend, showcasing an array of culturally-inspired dishes for two runs in 2015 and 2016. And if the eye-catching creativity and innovation put into Pangea is any indication, Post Road Brew House will be an experience to look forward to. We suggest you reserve your place sooner rather than later.
