The Westchester Westchester Winter Wonderland will return with a new rink this winter.
The new rink’s name, “Rangerstown” is a nod to former players from the NHL team who helped fund the rink, such as Dave Maloney and Ron Greschner.
The 70 by 90 foot rink will be built in the middle of the Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla, and will be approximately twice the size of last year’s rink, according to News 12.
The Winter Wonderland event started last year, and Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino said he’d like to see the event grow at a press conference announcing the new rink.
The rink is the same size as the famed one in Rockefeller Center. Winter Wonderland starts Nov. 27 and will through January 3.
