Ralph's Italian Ices Gets Last Lick Before Shutting Down

The Ralph’s Italian Ices in Mamaroneck officially ended its services Saturday after a highly publicized stand-off between the ice cream store and the Village of Mamaroneck.

Owner Scott Rosenberg decided to keep his ice cream store open, despite the orders from the town for Ralph’s to shut down on Thursday. That Friday evening, Rosenberg told the Daily Voice, “I’m open and serving people and the Village of Mamaroneck doesn’t know what they are doing.” Unfortunately,  Rosenberg ended up staying opened until Saturday when he voluntarily shut down his business due to a health permit expiration.

According to News 12, Rosenberg will continue to fight to keep Ralph’s Italian Ice’s opened. Eric Gordon, Rosenberg’s attorney stated that he would be discussing legal options with Rosenberg.
