It’s time for the next Pros(e) of Pie! If you’re unfamiliar with this gig, it’s a monthly open mic for tellers of true, personal stories. Oh, and it’s a bake-off, too. People bring pies, everyone votes on them, and the winner receives a gift card to a cooking store. The next show takes place on Saturday, February 28, at Pros(e) of Pie’s new, larger space at Curious-on-Hudson in Dobbs Ferry (this is their second appearance there).
If you don’t have a pie, it’s okay—really—but bringing one (with notice) gets you in for free. This month’s storytelling theme: confessions.
Pros(e) of Pie, Saturday, February 28, 8 pm, Curious-on-Hudson, 145 Palisade St, Dobbs Ferry. $12 plus $1.65 handling fee; free admission with your baked pie with two days’ notice; free admission plus one for featured auditioned storytellers (vs open mic). Get tickets here; e-mail ivy.m.eisenberg@gmail.com or zak@shustermanlaw.com for information about auditioning or to tell them you’re bringing a pie.
