New CEO Chosen at Friedland Realty

Commercial real estate powerhouse Friedland Realty, which recently severed its ties with NAI Global, has named Ayall Schanzer as the new CEO. Schanzer previously worked as the Chief Strategy Officer at Salient Corp. with over 20 total years of experience in business management and strategic development. Schanzer notes that the company is now focused on promoting its own brand and that it will undergo slight internal restructuring. Under Schanzer’s leadership, Friedland Realty hopes to expand its client base throughout New York State. “(Schanzer) is the ideal leader to take Friedland to the next level,” says Robert Friedland, the company’s founder. “His acumen and business intelligence are already charting a successful new course for our team of expert brokers.”

Steiner Sports Gives Promotion To Previous CFO

Kelvin Joseph, the Chief Financial Officer at New Rochelle-based Steiner Sports Marketing & Memorabilia, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Sales, a transition that will leave him in charge of overseeing the daily operations of the company as well as the direction of all sales and business development operations. Joseph, a 35 year-old Pace University graduate, joined Steiner Sports in 2009.

CMS Bank Names New Mt. Kisco Manager and Assistant VP of Business Banking and Commercial Lending

Debra M. Flynn has recently been named as Branch Manager of CMS Bank’s Mount Kisco Office. She will become responsible for the daily operations of the branch, servicing the personal and business clients, and working with the commercial lender to acquire new business accounts. Flynn, a resident of Croton-on-Hudson, has over 25 years of banking experience and was most recently the Regional Operations Manager for Sovereign/Santander Bank. She began her banking career at Countrywide. CMS Bank also recently named a new Vice President of Business Banking and Commercial Lending. Andrew Edge, a New York City resident and graduate of Wesleyan University, has been named to the position after six years of work with the company. Edge initially worked in the bank’s Operations Department and later became part of the bank’s Commercial Lending Group. Most recently, he served as a Credit Analyst.

Buzz Creators, Inc. Adds New Senior Account Executive

Daniella DiMartino has been promoted to Senior Account Executive at Buzz Creators, Inc., a Valhalla-based public relations and marketing firm servicing Westchester/Fairfield County, NYC and beyond.  She previously served as an Account Executive, having been with the firm for a year and a half. In her new position, DiMartino will work with a variety of clients in healthcare, restaurant, nonprofit, and hospitality industries to raise their local awareness through strategic PR campaigns, media relations, and social media. Prior to joining Buzz Creators, Inc., she served as Account Coordinator at Lisa Lori Communications, a Greenwich, CT and New York City based-public relations firm.
