Be Green holds annual fall and spring children’s consignment events at Purchase College. Expect “anything and everything kid-related,” says Meredith Brown, a Bronxville resident who organizes the event. The list includes high chairs, pack-and-plays, clothing, shoes, strollers, toys, books, DVDs, furniture, bikes, and sports equipment—all barely used or new at 50 percent to 90 percent off retail prices.

Tiny Tots Consignment

Stock up on seasonal items at these biannual sales (November and March) held at Greenwich Catholic School in Greenwich, Connecticut, featuring kids’ clothing, gear, toys, and furniture. The fall sale is great for “Halloween costumes, snow suits, boots, hats, mittens, Christmas dresses, and seasonal items like sleds and ice skates,” says Annie Schrek, the sale’s founder. In addition, second-time parents looking to “upgrade” their strollers, high chairs, or bouncers will love the 25 percent off retail prices. During the last two hours of the sale, all goods are 50 percent off.

Claire’s Consignments

Find some 10,000 items for infants, children, and teens at these biannual sales (March and September), held at the Columbian Hose Firehouse in Peekskill. Everything from clothes, shoes, and coats to toys, books, outdoor equipment, sports and dance apparel, strollers, and baby gear is on offer during the two-day sales. Shoppers who donate a package of new diapers or pajamas can come to the preview sale on Friday nights; and everyone is welcome at the half-price sale on Sundays.
