Designer, President & CEO, Christopher Peacock Greenwich; New York City; and seven other locations

Design Philosophy:

“I like to keep things easy on the eye and organized. Balance and symmetry are important but not essential. And I love unexpected details and quality over quantity always.”

Inspiration:

“Traveling around the globe. My phone is filled with pictures from my travels, and I refer to them often. I was just in St. Petersburg, Russia, and it is incredibly beautiful.”

Hottest Design Trends:

• More metal accents designed into cabinetry
• Light-washed and natural wood tones mixed with darker cabinetry colors
• Exotic materials, such as leathers and textured finishes

Top Design Tips:

• Do your research and ask a lot of questions.
• Don’t buy based on price, “because there is no shortcut to true luxury.”
• Don’t overlook the details, because “it’s the details that make the difference.”
