Party Pictures: Sandy Hook Benefit at Benjamin Steak House

Kindness Dinner Supports Sandy Hook Victims
Inspired by NBC News’ Ann Curry and her tweet suggesting that people do 26 kind acts (one for each person killed in the Newtown, Connecticut, shooting), 26 Westchester mothers attended a benefit dinner and vigil at Benjamin Steak House in White Plains. Curry attended the vigil and covered the story for a segment that aired on Rock Center with Brian Williams. The event raised $5,000 for the Sandy Hook victims; Benjamin Steak House donated 26 dinners.
