Westcherites dressed up–women in their finest stilettos and men in their trendiest suits–for the opening of NYC mini chainlet, Serafina Restaurant, in White Plains (right next to The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester). Guests got to taste an array of Serafina’s signature drinks along with its Northern Italian dishes, e.g., pasta, pizza (thumbs up for the arugula pizza), and risotto. We suspect that the outdoor dining will make for great people watching now that the weather has finally turned warm. We also suspect that it will become a favorite spot for local movers and shakers to meet for lunch. At the event, we spotted, among others: Louis Cappelli, Vasken Demirjian, our own food writer Julia Sexton, Kylie Cappelli and Former Mayor of White Plains Joe Delfino.
