In an unexpected turn of events (as with many things during this time), the first-round picks for the 2020 NFL Draft will come from right here in Westchester County. Bronxville resident and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will announce the picks virtually, from his basement, April 23-25.
The NFL announced that 58 prospects are confirmed to take part in this first-of-its-kind draft (unfortunately this set-up means no onstage photos with the commissioner).
FMIA filed in full to ace ed @dombonvissuto … Draft nuggets, an NFL galley I had a lot of fun compiling, plus the usual nonsense.
Happy Easter everyone!

One other thing: Roger Goodell will (as suspected) announce first-round picks standing in his basement in Bronxville, N.Y.— Peter King (@peter_king) April 12, 2020
Originally, the Las Vegas Strip had been scheduled for the draft. However this audible was made considering the current social-distancing regulations due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Goodell won’t be the only person during the event, airing on ABC, ESPN, and the NFL Network. There will also be live interviews and appearances with coaches, players, and team managers.
Even if you’re not a football fan, we recommend tuning in. This is NFL – and Westchester – history in the making.
