Armonk resident Kenneth Hutter, principal auctioneer and appraiser, who worked with his father at the now-defunct, family-owned Tepper Galleries in Manhattan, launched this eponymous auction house. “We knew from personal experience that Westchester residents appreciate fine antiques,” Hutter says. Specializing in 19th- and 20th-century furniture, fine art, silver, porcelain, and jewelry, Hutter Auctions purchases both entire estates and individual items, and holds monthly auctions.
