Three years after the Trump Organization opened the first new golf course built in New York City in over fifty years, the company has unveiled a 20,000-sq. ft. clubhouse to replace the original temporary building with which it opened. Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point sits at the foot of the Whitestone Bridge in the Bronx and the clubhouse takes advantage of the some spectacular views of the bridge, the Manhattan skyline, and Long Island Sound.
Eric Trump, EVP of the Trump Organization, says, “From day one, it was our goal to bring the finest golf experience to New York City, and today we are pleased to showcase the final piece which is an absolutely spectacular clubhouse. Our team spared no expense in delivering something truly very special that complements what you see out on the course, which is a pure golf experience coupled with the most incredible views of the iconic Manhattan skyline.”
The clubhouse was designed by the noted architectural firm of Hart-Howerton and features a waterfront restaurant serving new-American cuisine, a golf shop offering apparel and equipment, men’s and ladies’ locker room facilities, and over 15,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event spaces designed to be versatile enough for an extravagant party or intimate soiree.
General Manager, Joe Roediger commented, “This building is the perfect addition to our world-class golf course. As one can expect from a Trump property, no detail was overlooked — every feature was carefully selected with care to ensure that the building provides an atmosphere that is second to none.”
